LARAMIE, Wyoming - Anderson Cooper, host of CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 has finally done a 360 and revealed that he had finally decided to step out of the "Closet."
Cooper was vacationing in Laramie, Wyoming on the Hopalong Cassidy Commemorative Dude Ranch when he made his announcement.
He had decided to go to the dude ranch to see if maybe he could act like a tough hombre and show that he really and truly likes cowgirls; but as they say in San Francisco, "Nopers."
The foreman in charge of the dude ranch Kincaid "Buck" Hookerhouse, pointed out that he actually caught Cooper riding his palomino stallion sidesaddle, just like some of the cowgirls and cowsissies do.
Hookerhouse who has degrees in animal husbandry and sociology never laughs when he sees a guy riding sidesaddle, but in Anderson's case he said he had to make an exception due to the great, big, over sized, ten-gallon hat he was wearing.
Buck remarked that Andy's hat could have easily held a full-grown Butterball turkey in it with enough room left over for a jackrabbit.
When one of the ranch hands identified as Segundo San Tequila asked Cooper why in the world he was riding sidesaddle like a cowsissy, Anderson simply smiled, pursed his lips, and replied, "Because I feel a whole lot more comfortable that way and it helps to keep my designer slacks from getting all wrinkled and stuff."
"Gotcha partner." San Tequila replied trying to keep from laughing and spilling his Dos Equis Beer all over "El Pronto" his prized appaloosa stallion.
Ranch foreman Hookerhouse noted that he has instructed all of his ranch hands to never make fun of any male because of their religion, political affiliation, accent, clothes, race, or the fact that they may be wearing a pair of shocking pink Annie Oakley Designer Cowgirl Boots.
SIDENOTE: Anderson Cooper said that he really loved the Old West nickname that Foreman Hookerhouse gave him which was "Slim" Cooper.
