Following the shock announcement that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are to divorce, a friend of Cruises confirmed that he has not ruled out a fourth marriage.
The Mission Impossible actor, 50 next week, was previously married to Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman. Divorce from Holmes brings up the hat-trick.
A close, close friend last night was overheard in a gas station talking to a Hollywoodville reporter "Obviously this is a private matter for TC (Tom Cat) but he's not gone sour on the whole marrying thing - just maybe marrying women. Now he's due to hit the big FIVE 0, it might be time for a change - or maybe he won't bother with a piece of paper and civil ceremony and will just spend quality time hanging with his male buddies such as John (Travolta) and Russell (Brand). At the moment I can't confirm or deny anything - but watch this space - know what I'm saying?"
Russell Brand was also married to a Katy, which also ended in divorce, so the two actors from opposite side of the ponds will have plenty to talk about, especially now Tom has joined Russell in shaving off his beard.
