CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico - Selena Gomez and her boyfriend Justin Bieber flew down to Cabo San Lucas for a few days to celebrate the end of her very successful South American Music Tour.
Gomez speaking in the restaurant of The Whole Enchilada Hotel & Spa said that she really enjoyed performing in ten of South America's countries.
She noted that her performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina at The Mama Llama Arena even broke the attendance record that had been set by Shakira back in 2002, when the Colombian bombshell had broken her hip shaking speed record of 124 miles per hour.
Selena's tour dubbed The Selena Gomez & The Scene's Equatorial Rain Forest Pampas Adios Concert Tour was a bittersweet one for the 19-year-old singing sensation.
The young woman known as Justin Bieber's girlfriend greatly enjoyed all of the love and adulation of the fans, but she felt bad because it was the last performance of her and her band The Scene.
She held a news conference after their last performance at The Inca Dinka Doo Coliseum in La Paz, Bolivia, and she revealed that her and her band were splitting up.
Gomez stressed that the breakup was not of a personal nature, but that she just got tired of staring at the same musicians and back up singers day in and day out.
She winked and said that she was just kidding. She then said that she really liked every member of her band and singing group with the one possible exception of Maxwell F. Peckley, III, 29, who plays the glockenspiel.
Gomez said that the reason she does not like Maxwell is because he is a big fan of Sarah Palin and Selena has stated on many occasions that Sarah "Caribou Hormones" Palin had no business in the United States and really should stay in Alaska where she can see Russia from her upstairs bathroom.
Selena says that she will now concentrate on making movies. She added that she had a great time last year when she filmed Monte Carlo with Leighton Meester and will soon begin filming the sequel Monte Carlo - ROTFLMAO.
Gomez giggled and remarked that when she was working on Monte Carlo she especially loved the on set catering truck that had 13 different breakfast tacos on the menu.
In late breaking news. The city council of Karachi, Pakistan is putting an end to its traditional weekend elephant races after it was discovered that two of the elephants tested positive for Jose Cuervo Tequila.
