ITV scored one over the BBC today when it announced that the son of God Jesus Christ will join their new Saturday night talent show "Britain's Got A Brand New Superstar"
Mr Christ, 2012 of Nazareth, Israel said he was delighted to be joining the commercial broadcaster as the BBC only offered him work two weeks of the year, both during bank holidays when he preferred to be at home with the family.
"This is a chance for the people to see the real Jesus, to tell the truth I'm always a bit grumpy over Christmas and Easter but the of course the BBC money was always too good to refuse. Now ITV have made given me the chance to work with Simon Cowell - the ultimate king of Saturday night talent shows - to me he is a God".
Auditions for the new superstar start in February. Peter Kay and Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev are expected to be confirmed as the remaining judges next week.
