Fulton Fish Monger Vito Alfano Sells Performance Art Piece for Millions!

When Fulton Fish Monger Vito Alfano went to work on Monday, he thought it would be just another stinking day smelling like fish. By twelve noon Alfano was surrounded by news cameras and giants of the art world. The difference was made by a casual visit to the NYC landmark by rap star and new art collector, Pretentious Glee XIII.

When Glee whose projects name is Anthony Smith saw the box of seafood displayed on Alfano's stand, he exploded. Passersby claim that PG-13 declared the piece the performance art triumph of the new century." Alfano", PG-13 proclaimed," has captured the abstract expressionism of Picasso and melded it with a true 21th Century ecological irony."

Glee demanded the piece immediately and Alfano was about to weigh it up at about $100 when the art connoisseur wrote out a check for five million dollars. When Vito was asked what he would do now with his fish fortune, he replied: "I will fulfill my dream of becoming a perfumiere and finally get this stink of fish out of my nostrils!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
