SAN DIEGO, California - (Satire News) - Reports filtering out of San Diego, which is where Jack in The Box is headquartered, are saying that the food chain will be changing its name.
The franchise founder Robert "Burger Dude" Peterson stated that many of his patrons did not like the name "Box." Many said that it was actually a somewhat vulgaristic sounding name.
So Peterson decided to change the name to the more acceptable Jack in The Sack.
Reports are that there were some long time patrons who did not care for the new name either, because they pointed out that the word "Sack" conjurned up a euphemism for the word "Bed."
Peterson, who got quite upset said that he may just change the name of his franchise to simply "Jack."
