"Shop till you drop" doesn't apply only to humans.
Twitter birdies, bored with their usual endeavors, have taken to shopping. Boy, have they taken to shopping!
During the last few weeks, the best stores on Fifth Avenue in NYC have been packed with the birds looking for bargains. It's been a sight to behold, especially because the birdies, under orders from chief birdie Bill Twitter, president of the Twitter Birdies Labor Union, have been wearing mini Pampers. As Mr. Twitter explained, "On too many prior occasions, the birdies have disgraced themselves and the company by pooping all over the place on both objects and people. Unacceptable!"
Mr. Twitter continued, "All Twitter employees must maintain the highest standards of dignity and decorum. Public pooping is just not compatible with corporate goals."
So there you have it...
