CHUGWATER, WYOMING - Twin brothers, Buck and Chuck Clapsaddle, 36, have announced their award winning, multimillion dollar business, ObamaBowlaRama, a bowling alley with a political twist, will be offered for nationwide and possibly international franchise in March.
Since last February, busloads of tourists, from countries as far away as Japan and South Africa, have have been flocking to this small burg in southwestern Wyoming, to enjoy hitting pins painted with the likenesses of President Obama and HIlary Rodham Clinton.
Customers can choose from bowling balls featuring such notable motifs as the American Flag, Sons of Liberty, USMC, USN, USAF, Statue of Liberty, as well as likenesses of Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, and Ann Coulter.
Chuck stated, "For an extra fee you can have your own likeness painted on a bowling ball, use it, and then take it home in a special ObamaBowlaRama bowling bag as a souvenir."
The brothers admitted that the business started slow in the sleepy town, population 212, but took off after the Tea Party and American Patriot Tours began featuring the bowling alley (off I-25) as part of their "Take Back America" vacation packages.
Previously, the brothers had been real estate brokers in Chugwater's 2005 promotion to attract new people to the town.
At that time, building lots were being offered for $100 if the new owner built a house within a year and promised to live on the property for at least two years.
"Since only four lots were sold", said Buck, "we had to figure out another way to make a living."
Anyone interested in a franchise can contact the brothers through their company website, www.OBamaBowlaRama.web.
