LOUISVILLE, Kentucky - The spokesperson for KFC, Ty Picklefeather, has informed the news media that the fried chicken fast food franchise has agreed to remove the Confederate flags found out in the parking lot of some of its Southern restaurants.
Picklefeather stated that a group calling itself The Hey Y'all The Civil War Is Over had protested at three KFC establishments in Kentucky and it really hurt the business.
KFC has always been proud of the fact that they listen to the suggestions, ideas, and requests of its devoted patrons.
Picklefeather did point out that he knows of only four KFC restaurants that still fly the Civil War flag known as The Stars and Bars, but he promised that the flags will be taken down and given to Civil War museums.
SIDENOTE: Ty Picklefeather commented that the four Confederate flags will be replaced by flags featuring the likeness of KFC founder Colonel Harlan Sanders.
