Roy Hodgson has picked his first England squad, for the Euro 2012 finals no less. They will play two friendlies before the finals.

Seems to have mirrored my 2002 World Cup squad, picking a youngster from Arsenal. In 2002 I picked Theo Walcott. Roy has picked Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

But I only picked Theo to confuse the press, and I had already announced I was leaving the job after the finals.

Roy appears to have announced his resignation before he has even managed a game.
