Dear Diary,

Today , I go on my well deserved New Year's Break . I only have 11 short months until me and my extremely helpful elves get back to work . The wife said to me this morning that recently , there's been a spring in my step . I agree with her .
My head elf is on holiday in Vancouver and all the others in Italy , they'll come back when they've ran out of people to terrorise .

I'll leave you now because Mrs . Claus just called me for tea.
