Just dug out a great recipe from me old abo' mucker Bruce McBruce for bush tucker using a cassowary.
Get a big iron pot of water on the boil. Dump the whole cassowary in the pot, then find a bloody big duckstone and put that on top of the cassowary. Lid back on the pot and boil the whole lot for nine hours.
Get yer carving plate ready, take the duckstone out of the pot, plonk it on the plate.
Take the cassowar out too, throw it in the bush for the dingos, then get a knife and carve up the duckstone: bound to be more tender than the cassowary.
