Ray Mears - My Fake Diary
Tuesday, 23 December 2008
Bit of a charity day contribution for the less fortunate.
Me and Gordon went down to the local drug rehab' centre to give out a few pressies, do some glad-handing and spread the Christmas cheer.
Quite a few people in there who were enthralled with my BBC series and have become aficionados of bush tucker to the extent of addiction.
Several gone completely feral, living in the local parks and woods, and even landfill sites.
All of 'em addicted to surviving off the land, even down to roadkill and carrion level.
Had a chat with one bloke who'd become addicted to rhubarb, another whose thing was acorns and conkers; and another lad who eats nowt but corrugated cardboard.
One good point: none of 'em were overweight and all had low cholesterol levels.
