Dear Diary,

I have been drilling the troops hard all day long. I guess I got up on the wrong side of the rock this morning but we must be prepared should a direct attack come.

The waiting is the hardest part.

No, the sleeping on the rocks is the hardest part.

Maybe the constant diet of roasted rats and lizards.

Perhaps squatting in cave #2 and trying to breathe is the hardest part.

But the waiting is bad.

Especially when Hamil plays the banjo. It has two strings left.

Especially when he starts up on that "Deliverance" thing and I begin to think once again about my ordeal in Dolly's Mountains.

Plus he plays his version of The 1812 Overture.

THAT'S IT!

Hearing The 1812 Overture on the banjo with two strings is definitely the hardest part! Compared to that, water boarding is a cake walk!
