Years ago, when I said I didn't agree with Lordships for retiring politicians, and I would not accept one - I really meant it you know!

Mind you, then I didn't know that whether they attend or not, they get £300 a week food allowance, subsidised restaurants, trevelling expenses, protection officers... and are allowed to have other full time jobs at the same time... like police Comissioners!

So you can't blame me for taking what I said I wouldn't can you?
