I'm so delighted by Boris Johnson's victory, despite speculation the London mayor could mount a challenge to my Tory leadership.

I praised Johnson for running a strong campaign and added that I had enjoyed backing his campaign for re-election. I said I enjoyed campaigning with Boris but now what matters is working together for the good of London! (Clever that I thought, to nick some of his glory being as I'm not currently getting any myself)
