What a great day! Back 'home' to London to eat pie and mash with me' mum and then into Waltham Abbey to visit nan in her care home.

I told mum I had to take a 40% pay cut to stay at LA Galaxy so she paid for the pie n'mash which was nice.

Then nan gave me £5 pocket money and told me not to spend it all at once! I was going to ask her to back date it to £5 a week since my last visit but thought I'd better not as she has to survive on her pension and her bingo winnings.

She should play the lottery - she can win a lot more - and share it with her grandson and his four children!
