Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is set to earn £27.4m in 2012 from wages, bonuses, sponsorship and endorsements. Blimey, even i'm jealous.

Last night he scored his 8th hat-trick, yes Eighth, 54 for the season in total, plus he became the Barca all time record top scorer in club history with his second goal in a 5-3 win over Granada taking him to 234 in eight years since he made his debut.

I thought Granada was a tv channel? Should they be playing in La Liga?
Who are they playing next week? Santander Bank?
