I went to the Academy Awards last night with Victoria. We let Brooklyn babysit his brothers and sister, to save a few quid on a sitter who'd want the going rate.

I was really looking forward to meeting the guy who organized the event - a guy called Oscar - but he's 84 years old and must have been ill - I didn't see him anywhere.

People kept asking me how the pants business is going - I had to explain that's my part-time job, and I actually play football for a living. No-one had heard of LA Galaxy though. Except Tom, of course. He's really cool. I think I have a man crush on him.
