"What a day!?" That was close...

I mean it's not every day you go for a bike ride in London and nearly get killed by a lorry running over a sleeping policeman. We are trying to make it safe to cycle around the streets of London without parents having to worry about children and their safety. Those speed ramps are supposed to slow people down - not to 'bounce' lorries for God's sake.

Borrowed a new bike from Halford's -- complete with a helmet and that makes me look like a right so-and-so, but anything for publicity. I want to be seen as a very accessible Mayor. I do hope I don't get my trousers stuck in the chain because I have a banquet to go to tonight - such a busy man that I am!
