Van Persie started his first match for United today and scored after 10 minutes as they beat Fulham 3-2, but Fergie left Rooney on the bench, and when he did come on, he got injured and will be out for four weeks.

Everyone was talking about the Rooney/RVP partnership helping United to win the league title back, but Fergie has played 2 matches and not started them together. I wish the old scot had told me that when we negotiated the transfer, I would have asked for Rooney on a season long loan...
