True - but thats life !

A couple of days ago, I was ripping Cd's to my PC Music Library. I used one of these programmes that let you put cd in slot, then they fill in all the details of artist, track title, etc, from their details to use in your music library. I had a double-disc cd. I started first one off; checked that details coming through ok, then went off to watch soccer. When first disc finished, started second disc, checked again, then sat down to evening meal. Thought no more about it.

Imagine my amazement, amusement, and every other verb beginning with 'a' when I went to play a track back.

The 'ripping' programme (No names, no multi-million dollar law case), had got it's .dll's in a twist, and transposed artists from first disc onto titles of second disc, and vicky verky.

I am now the proud owner of probably the only copy in the land of Stevie Wonder (the artist on disc 1), singing 'I Can See Clearly ' (Johnny Nash title on disc 2).
