The estate of Paul the Octopus has announced the creation of The Paul the Octopus Scholarship Fund for Psychic Marine Animal Research, effective immediately.
Students will be selected based on three criteria:
1) Need
2) How badly do they "want it"?
3) Potential for future success in the area of psychic marine animal research
"Due to the outpouring of love and support that we have seen since his untimely passing, we feel strongly that this is something Paul would have wanted," said an anonymous spokesperson for the estate. "Perhaps he even predicted it -- we will never know."
Donations to the fund can be made by wiring money to the Central Bank of Nigeria, care of the Paul the Octopus Estate.
