Students have been taking to the streets in French cities to continue the protest at the Government's pension plans.
Older strikers, however, have been returning to work as several key strikes have ended.
But there are reasons to believe that the students' action is less than solid, as a number who spoke to us had various reasons for being "on strike."
Chantal, 19, demonstrating in Paris, had trevelled from home in Dijon. She told us: "Ma boyfriend, 'e is 'ere at college and I 'ave not seen 'im for months.
"I am planning to surprise 'im - and if what ma friend Danielle tells me is true, believe me, I am going to cut off 'is - what you call? Eh? Ah yes - 'is knackers. Salaud!"
Also marching in Paris, was Gerard, 20. He said: "Please do not say anysing, but I am late wiz ze essay on Maupassant and I am trying to put eet off, telling ma tutor!"
