What hubris! What bloody cheeky buggers! A drowning, deluded and hypocritical Pakistan is still prevaricating as its idiot govt "mulls over accepting Indian aid due to peculiar sensitivities"
[Translation: "we've conned our people by telling them India is enemy number 1 when we know it's a big fat lie"]
The Pak Army chief - considered by Washington to be the 'wisest' [LOL!!] man in the country - finds himself between a rock and a hard place.
For he is the architect of this falsity. A myth he continues to perpetuate in the hopes of:
-returning the Army to power
-hoping to destroy India through Kashmir insurgency
-controlling neighbor Afghanistan through 'strategic use' of Taliban militancy.
Nowhere was his rage more evident than Obama's appointment of Holbrooke as Af-Pak envoy - in America's new aim of de-linking Pak from the decades old hyphenated-with-India failed policy and lumping it with (gulp) Afghanistan.
Now in what must be the ultimate ignominy for this Army Chief - the current Fool on the Pak Hill - the man who did the dirty on both neighbors - India and Afghanistan - the drowning, falling-apart nation with the world's biggest begging bowl has to decide whether Indian [read: Hindu] aid is worthy of acceptance.
In order to accept this the shameless Pak ISI, which can turn on a dime at the smell of money, is now singing from a modified song-sheet:
"We now feel there is a two-thirds likelihood of a major threat to Pakistan coming from militants rather than from India".
Oy!! Only "two-thirds"? At last count the lunatics were running the asylum.
Icing on the cake: To heap insult on top of injury Afghanistan has now offered US $1 million flood aid to untrustworthy neighbor Pakistan!
Oh how the mighty have fallen! Man proposes but Nature disposes!
Memo to Pakistan: Your biggest threat comes from your incompetent civilian politicians who are manipulated by your corrupt Army, deceitful Intelligence and barbaric religious extremist militant mentors.
