"A smart lad."

World famous physicist, Stephen Hawking, is undergoing his most difficult challenge to date, learning to drive.

Hawking, who is severely affected by Motor Neurones Disease will control the specially adapted Vauxhall Corsa in a similar way to how he controls his wheelchair.

It can be reported that Hawking has had three lessons to date and his instructor, "Eddie" is pleased with his progress, "We had a few problems to begin with but he picked it up pretty quick. You can tell he's a smart lad."

Hawking, who has a knack for adventure, intends to go into space having floated in zero gravity back in 2007.

"If I can go to space and understand all of the Universe's complexity, I should be able to drive myself to get a pint of milk," said Hawking. "It will be a long process but I hope to have my licence within 40 lessons."

Hawking added; "I used to only fear the immense power of black holes. Now I fear entering roundabouts too..."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
