British brainbox Stephen Hawking has told Sky news that he has been banned from taking part in Robot wars.

Speaking from his computer Mr Hawking said "I could beat anyone in that arena and i think thats why the BBC have banned me" A BBC spokesman confirmed that Hawking would not be in the arena fighting he said "because he would get battered"

Sky news can confirm that Hawking has been in training for the last 8 weeks and has added a hammer on the back of his wheelchair with lawn mower cutters on the front. Hawking told Kay Burley "well that was a waste of time, may as well stick to looking at the stars".

A tearful Kay Burley said "I thought you'd be the best on there"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
