What is the world coming to when top Politicians in Ontario, Canada, propose to start Sex Education classes in schools as early as Grade 1? These children are only six years old.
Naturally some parents are up in arms and who can blame them?
These little ones are not 'long out of the womb' themselves and some misguided individuals want to administer sex education to them.
These children still believe in Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. Now some misguided individuals wish to scare them half to death. This could cause the human race to become extinct if it becomes a widespread practise.
It's not clear, at this point, if the 'sexual act' is to be part of their classes, or merely 'gender identity' and 'acceptance' of 'different' behaviours of the sexes in order to prepare them for when they are 7 and 8 and become confused about their sexual orientation.
Well, if that's the case, if they're NOT confused before the 'sex education classes' they surely WILL be after attending them.
Six years old is obviously far too young. Let them play 'doctors and nurses' like we used to do at that age. Let the boys peep into the girls toilets and get the girls screaming, just like they used to when I was six.
Back when I was six it was a case of "Show me your bum and I'll show you mine." Not that anyone asked ME to do so....but I know it went on.
"Catchy Kissy," was a popular game for 6 year old in my day.
I do have a sense that, IF Sex Education is given to students as young as 6 yrs. old. the playground games will change drastically.
I dread to think what I will have to 'deal with' when I am on yard duty in the future, if this plan 'goes through'.
A much louder whistle will be called for!
