A Jordanian mayor has issued a jihad against the editor of his local newspaper for making him look silly. The mothy, rag headed mayor believed the reports of 3 meter aliens arriving to help them defeat the West!
"I truly believed Allah had sent them after I prayed for a bigger and better army to fight the Westerners rampaging through our countries," said the rather unstable man.
The local news editor, now in hiding is blaming the US for his jihad and wants compensation. "It's the American's fault. The CIA bugged the mayor's bedroom and listened to his prayers. Then posing as wealthy oil sheiks they told me of the aliens and their plan to sell us laser guns for oil. I then reported the facts and the mayor thought it was his prayers answered," said the editor.
The US government rejected this claim they were somehow to blame. They said "The story was published on April 1st which is April Fools Day. Besides why would aliens need oil when they probably have some sort of star drive engines, powered by anti-matter?"
