A Russian woman had to be restrained and sedated earlier today following a last minute change to the television schedule on a national station. The woman was so angry she failed to see the funny side of the situation when her husband made a joke of it.

"I was settling down to watch my favourite program, 'Mukhtar', the intelligent police dog. To my surprise all I saw was live football from Kazan. I called my husband into the room and pointed at the television. He said 'Splendid' and sat down to watch the football. I snapped. I cannot live without seeing the back-to-back episodes of 'Mukhtar'. I love the way he solves all the crimes and leads the stupid cops to the criminals."

Local police were alerted and should attend in a couple of months if we bribe them enough. Doctors have threatened to begin treatment once they have finished using the ambulance as a taxi.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
