President Obama said today that the deal in which the United States bought Alaska was "one of the best deals ever". Obama was speaking at the summit in Moscow where the two world leaders came together to pretend to reduce nuclear weapons (isn't that 'put in place steps for further reductions in nuclear weapons?)
However, there was controversy when Obama asked Putin if he would be prepared to accept Sarah Palin as a gift from the United States. Putin became extremely angry at such an offer. "we do not want the President's cast off. What is not good enough for the United States is certainly not good enough for Russia. It's because of her that we don't want Alaska back."
It has now been suggested that the United States will keep at least one missile and strap Palin to it and launch it to the stars.
