Today the Israeli government renamed Gaza City as the 'Warsaw Ghetto'. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said: 'We checked our history books, and realised that Gaza had turned into a place that is very similar to the Warsaw Ghetto. The Nazis took all the Polish people that had a different religion and culture and herded them into the Ghetto, treated them like animals, and then used their military to attack the civilian population and its buildings. So Gaza is now the Warsaw Ghetto Mark 2!'
For years, hundreds of thousands of people only survived the near-starvation and disease of the Warsaw Ghetto by smuggling in food and supplies, but knowing the Nazis only too well they also smuggled in guns and grenades, to be ready for the inevitable attack. And when the mighty German army decided to 'liquidate' the Ghetto, and sealed in the people and began attacking the area, the Nazis met unbelievable resistance from the Jewish people there.
Only by killing almost all of its population and destroying every last building, and even sending in airstrikes to bomb the Ghetto, did the Germans end the stand-off. Of course, they also contaminated the water supply to hurry things along, but some actually escaped through the sewers, such was their determination and bravery.
The Nazis' usual excuse for the mass-murder that took place was probably that the Jews were 'terrorists' - for daring to fire guns at the Germans, after endless mistreatment at their hands - and that the Jews had no civilisation or decency, despite the fact that until its end the Ghetto ran its own schools and shops, and had its own doctors and transport and culture, and was a thriving city within a city.
When all this was pointed out to Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, he shrugged and said: 'So what? As long as the Americans are dumb enough to believe our lies, we'll carry on with the killing. The land of the free jets and rockets - for us to use on children's schools, even when the UN tell us where they are, ha ha ha!'
Sadly, the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto and the murder of its residents was generally ignored by the outside world - that world is smaller now, and no-one will forget what the Israelis have been doing recently in the Gaza. And a new American President may not be so tolerant of such Israeli war crimes. And of course Hamas - the first Palestinian organisation to ever fight the Israelis openly - are already bound to be heroes to millions of Arabs, and their support will increase massively.
Possibly the idiot behaviour of retired President George W. Bush has rubbed off on the Israelis, and they have now massively shot themselves in the foot.
