Paul 'Gazza' Gascoigne is heading for the Middle East to finish off his career. Gaza City FC manager, Abdul Al Newcastali made the announcement today from under the terraces of the city stadium, where he was sheltering from incoming tank fire.
"At the height of his career, Paul could strike a ball like a rocket and be spot on target." said the Coach, "We hope that he can still achieve such accuracy."
Gazza's agent said, "Paul was a little concerned that he would not be able to drink Neecasle Broon Ale and scoff his favourite pork pies, but the team have given their assurances that these will be smuggled in from Egypt for him."
Henceforth Paul will be known as 'Gaza' Gascoigne
