United States Nuclear Submarine the Houston has a problem. While visiting the western Japanese port city of Sasebo on a diplomatic mission to help the Japanese accept the future presence of the immense nuclear-powered aircraft carrier The George Washington the sub sprung a leak.
At first US officials told the harbor officials of Sasebo that the yellow fluid leaking from the submarine was just the liquid waste from the latrine. When their radiation detectors started registering danger, the piss poor excuse was proven to be inaccurate. (The Japanese have considerable experience measuring radiation levels from American involvement in their country).
Bush administration officials anxious to gain acceptance for the George Washington told the Japanese Atomic Energy Monitoring Commission that the leak though nucular was only a half of a microcurie. They explained that this was a trace amount of radiation that could not be harmful. A microcurie is the amount of urine Madame Curie made in a single piss.
Bush himself asked the Japanese to please not get pissed off and promised future nucular ships will be more careful where they put their microcuries.
