The Pope, today in a speech from Australia, said he was sorry for the years of abuse at the hands of "evil Clergy"
For many Centuries Catholic Clergyman have forced millions of people to sit through boring, long winded uninspiring sermons. The Pope asked for a moment to remember every little kid dragged off to Mass, against his and her wishes, while friends were outside playing and sporting events were on T.V. He said he also feels the shame of every little child brainwashed into believing Catholic doctrine.
"We owe a debt to the world for all B/S we taught in Mass and all those football games missed and nice days out in the Sun, that so many of our children have lost".
Many victims said, thier lives will never be the same after their experiences of abuse. One victim said: "Going to Mass has ruined my life and I will never recover".
Support groups have in Australia have been calling for an apology and for the Pontiff to promise he would work to prevent this in the future.
