More controversy from the Vatican today as the Pope's head stylist has resigned from his post after he and the Pontiff disagreed about the outfit he should wear to last Sunday's mass.
Monsignor Roger Pirelli, who has looked after his Holiness' fashion needs for 3 years, commented that the Pontiff was being "stubborn and unreasonable", choosing a Papal outfit that "would totally clash with the stain glass artwork".
Papal insiders are worried about the effects that the resignation may have on World Youth Day, as every attempt to make the Catholic Church seem hip and 'bling' may be undone by Pirelli's resignation.
The Vatican was unavaliable for comment today, even though we tried several times to get their opinion on the matter during confession.
