Sebastian Faulks was tasked with coming up with writing the first new Bond book in 40 years. Faulks was chosen to write the book by surviving members of Ian Flemings family, and yet some are questioning his motives amid claims he is 'cashing-in' on the dead author's popular character.
"I tried to make it modern and appealing to today's readers." said Sebastian. The book is called 'James Bond and Harry Potter and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skullraker"
Speaking for the family, one of the Flemings said: "We read other books by Sebastian like The Prisoner of Zelda and Saucerful of the Chamber of Secrets and thought he was best to carry on the work of our misogynist hack of a father."
Faulks defended himself against the accusations of cashing in by claiming. "Good artists borrow, great artists steal and third-rate writers just come up with catchy titles or work for The Spoof. Now where's my cheque?"
