The new Bond film is breaking new ground in many ways. Not content with making Bond gay, the producers have made another important change to 007's behaviour - he's gone green.
"We acknowledge that James Bond has not always had the care of the environment at the top of his agenda. With global warming now a reality, things have had to change." Producers said.
In the new film gone are the petrol guzzling cars, polluting jets and disposable gadgets. Bond is seen chasing the villains on public transport, going by train instead of plane and imploring "Q" to provide him with technology that is powered by sustainable energy sources. In one emotional scene, Bond and his boyfriend plant a series of trees to make up for his previous polluting behaviour.
"What is the point in Bond saving the world, if he is destroying it in the process?"Nobody said.
As The Sun headline put it: "007 has gone Car-Bond Neutral"
