ISLAMABAD, Pakistan -- Pakistan's Interior Ministry spokesman, Javed lqbal Cheema, said that Benazir Bhutto died from hitting her head on the sunroof of her campaign vehicle and not from bullet wounds. As a result, the manufacturer of Bhutto's vehicle has issued a recall of all identical models.

The manufacturer plans to put extra padding around the sunroof's lever, which Pakistani authorities believe caused Benazir Bhutto's untimely death. Additionally, at no extra cost the sunroof area will be reinforced with 0.239 gauge steel so that paper, cans, rocks, bullets and any other road debris that gets kicked up, while driving, will easily be deflected.

Letters have been sent to all owners in Kabul, Sadr City, Damascus, Tehran, Mogadishu and every province in Lebanon. The manufacturer is urging owners to inform their citizens not to expect to see them for at least two weeks while the modifications are being made.

The Vatican, issued a statement saying the Popemobile, was modified in 2005, by the Il Cielo Puo Attendere (Heaven Can Wait) Body Shop in Turin, and recommended all highbrow political figures to do the same with their vehicles.
