District of Columbia (Reuterus) - Robert Zoellick will become the 11th World Bank president effective July 1st. The son of an Austrian customs official and a young peasant girl, Zoellick was a surprise nominee by George Bush due to his Austrian heritage.
He already has big plans in mind, including storming Poland and annexing a few other yet-to-be-named countries.
"Zis is a great thrill fur mich," said a clearly electrified Zoellick, sweating profusely during his acceptance speech. "You have made me zo very happy!"
A strangely charismatic speaker, 'Mister Z' (as he refers to himself) cannot wait to start work as the new sheriff in town beginning next month.
