This fantastic company has decided to let YouTube users make their own Crème Egg ad for nothing in a clear case of extreme generosity. Cadbury's have set up a YouTube subsection, Goof-off, for people to post their own ads for this yummy sweet in receipt for absolutely nothing but a warm sickly constipated feeling inside.
That's how generous they are. YouTube users then decide which ad they prefer. The competition's hot. The Spoof looked in recently, and we were blown away with the standard and the diversity of the efforts of ordinary folk.
The leading video at YouTube is the lo-fi Stupid Kid Puking. Basically it's a brilliant take on a student running on a treadmill while he eats crème eggs then he throws up. It'll crack you up this Easter.
The inventive and off-beat, Puking Kid Tries to Run is basically the hilarious shot of a student puking his guts over a treadmill while he tries to run in the slick of crème egg goo. Genius. We were in stitches.
Puking Stupid Fat Kid is the remarkable story of a kid who can put them away at the rate of one a second. In the thirty second commercial he eats thirty, and then projectile vomits crème egg pus all over the screen. That's our favourite. You can't get closer to the essential pleasure of a crème egg than that.
But it's up to you. You can vote for the ad that does it for you.
Here at The Spoof we're not scared to get our hands sticky, nor are we going to be called stuffy. In a fit of trendy generosity, we set up a free subsection of YouTube for out-of-work ad people to post their videos of themselves doing absolutely FA and wishing they hadn't raced down-market so quickly. Vote now for the lamest sucker with the biggest drink problem.
