Gaza - (Suspicious Press): In what has been described by the US State Department as a highly sinister move, Palestinian terrists have dumped the suicide bomb as the radically chic weapon of choice in favor of a more ecologically friendly but equally deadly weapon, the killer crocodile.
The move follows the detention of an Arab woman at the Gaza-Egypt border today who was stopped because guards thought she looked fat, but in an even stranger way than the usual bomb-carrying suicidal zealot with the customary 100lb of nitro-glycerine strapped to his/her belly.
A Sharia-compliant body search soon revealed three crocodiles strapped to the woman's body. Their pesky little jaws had been tied together with string to stop them squealing and snapping at their tethers.
"If these little beauties had been let loose in a crowded market place, God knows what kind of carnage ther might have been," said a border patrol officer who confirmed the crocs had been quarantined in a local zoo until somebody thinks up a good idea what to do with them.
Although the beasties were relatively young little snappers no more than two feet long and weighing approximaely 30lbs each, their potential to grow into ten foot long adults was worrying.
Border patrol militia has reported a spate of anmal-related terror attemts in recent weeks. A fortnight ago another woman tried to bring in a donkey tied to her chest which had sticks of dynamite strapped to its body.
"She seemed surprised that we had caught her and asked us repeatedly what it was that had made us suspicious enough to detain and search her," the patrol commander said.
"No one had the heart to tell her."
