(NOT EDITED) The small town of Kiurten in northern Germany has become latest centre of attention by the "guilded man", a mysterious creature who seems to appear every twenty five years and looks for something scary to afflict town populations.
The creature was spotted Saturday trying to get a free meal from a local fast food outlet which had been attacked 48 hours earlier. People describe him as about seven feet tall with a distinctive walk and a booming voice that sends people into a frenzy.
Local authorities are unsure as to how the creature can be contained. The concensus seems to be that he brings tourist money to the town and so he should be allowed to roam at his leisure.
Time will tell whether this creature is worth the trouble he has caused so far. There are some who think he isn't.
