Cars aren't everyone's cup of tea, but one man who has been a strong enthusiast of all kinds of vehicles for more than fifty years, has been 'in the market' recently, and ended up buying a beautiful new green pickup truck.
Moys Kenwood, 56, says he 'made the plunge' during a recent trip home to England. The pickup truck is a diecast metal model which he bought for his son in Poundland in Hull, It's 2 inches long, and weighs about 30 grams.
It came as part of a two-pack with another car - a blue one - which is also quite good, but nothing special.
Kenwood revealed how he and his son, Norman, play happily for hours on the brand-new-looking special 'roadway playmat' he saw in a charity shop for £2. Norman likes a purple car the best, whilst both are big fans of the two red tractors. They crash them, and have the 'drivers' ask each other what they think they are doing.
Kenwood's wife remarked:
"It keeps them busy, and off the streets. Well, the REAL streets, anyway!"
