Barking, Isle of Dogs - A local authority is to pay one million dollars compensation to a man who fell off the pot after eight years in a public toilet.
Barking Council agreed the seven figure payout as part of its compensation culture initiative in what's been described as a one-in-million case.
Unnamed disabled man Barry Dropmore, who is thought to weigh 39 stone (546 lbs), slipped and fell in Barking's municipal kazi as the toilet bowl beneath him broke.
Lawyers in the award loop say that substantial legal fees mean a whole shit pile of expenses will only add to Barking's bill 'landing on residents' doorsteps'.

Dropmore had to be lifted by air ambulance earlier this year following the 2007 incident, described by Barking Council as a longdrop mess.
The wrecked public toilet will now be refurbished with taxpayer funding ahead of an official opening by Kate Middleton.
