With the Football World Cup just 8 years away, the nation of Qatar is gearing up for the tournament by quickly assembling arenas. However they have reached a milestone today when they revealed a new stadium which had been built entirely from the dead bodies of immigrant workers who had been forced to create the building.
"We were struggling to meet our targets, and the deaths of so many immigrant builders was slowing us down." said construction worker Ahmed Siddique "However then we had a eureka moment and decided to pile the bodies on top of each other in order to create the buildings".
FIFA chief Sepp Blatter has already praised the nation's ability to make the most of a bad situation. However, some visitors to the stadium expressed concerns that the sight of dead bodies staring out at you from the walls would hamper the party atmosphere of the most watched sports competition.
"It feels wrong walking on floors made of human heads" said building inspector Hakim Nabir "occasionally you can still hear the screams of barely-alive workers calling for help underneath the rubble of bodies."
