PYONGYANG, North Korea - Kim Jong Un recently stated that American Idol is one of his favorite American television shows.
He says he never misses it and that his wife, Ri Sol Ju is also a fan.
The North Korean leader was recently asked by a reporter for North Korea's national news agency, The Rice Paddy if he had a favorite singer he was pulling for.
Kim Jong Un smiled and replied that he really likes the barbecue guy C.J. Harris from Alabama because he reminds him of his American BFF Dennis Rodman except without the dozens of tattoos, facial piercings, and bling bling.
When asked who his wife was picking to win this season's edition of American Idol, he grinned and said that she likes the San Francisco lesbian singer M.K. Nicolette.
The North Korean leader made a face and said that one can tell that Miss Nicolette's heart is just not in it and she is simply going through the motions.
He then said that to be perfectly honest M.K. shows about as much enthusiasm as a pair of used chopsticks.
