MOSCOW - President Putin of Russia said that he was surprised that the movie that he was pulling for to win the Academy Award for best picture did not win.
The Russian leader said that he was certain that Gravity starring the sexy Sandra Bullock and the equally sexy George Clooney would have been a shoo in.
He said that out of the Russian Space Agency's 73 cosmonauts, 71 were rooting for Gravity to take the top honors.
Putin commented that one cosmonaut was cheering for Captain Phillips and another one was hoping that The Wolf of Wall Street would win.
SIDENOTE: President Putin said that he thinks that Sandra Bullock is one of the sexiest movie stars in Tinsel Town. He has asked his Director of Computers Edward Snowden to contact her and let her know that he (Putin) would love for her to visit him in Moscow.
