The police in Holland have accidentally cleared out the student house instead of the squat next door. The cause of the confusion was the 'alternative look' and second hand clothing.
The front door was forced open with a ram and a small protest was dealt with police batons.
Police Spokesperson Jos Klaassen refers to it as a painful but understandable mistake.
"The address we got was Kade 14, the student house was 14a, however, due to a big mess and alternatively dressed inhabitants a mistake like this could be made by anyone. Especially because the number is shown nowhere."
The inhabitants reacted with shock.
"The difference between squatters and us is clearly visible. We are mostly wearing pastel tinted tops while they mostly wear black and gray t-shirts"
