MUNICH - Hans Snortlebuntof, a well known artist in the city, has leaked to the press that he has constructed his next work of art, to be revealed Jan. 2, 2012, entirely out of 1000 Euro bills. Three tons of them.
According to investigative reporter, Geoff Hidelstacherburgerstinehumper, the Eros were found in the trash behind Dupes Bank's main office. Hans reportedly took the Euros and made a giant collage of bits of them he cut with scissors. Others he used to make a paper mâché work that will be part of the objecte de art.
Reportedly, when asked why he did not take the money and use it for his expenses, Hans quipped, "I'm not motivated by money. Besides, everyone knows the Euro is going the way of the dodo bird. The bank must be converting over now to the new currency."
When asked about his own finances, Hans stated, "Oh, I converted to Dollars myself when I found these notes. I wouldn't want to be the last person stuck with Euros. That's why I made this work of art from them. I tried to spend some of these found Euros, but it seemed dishonest. I could not bring myself to do it."
Geoff H. is still investigating with the bank.
